Memorial to Past Friends
Sheba

Sheba was with me for 17 years, from '74 to '91. She never weighed more than 7 pounds, but definitely ruled the house with an 'iron paw'. I used to say she thought she was my equal, to which my brother replied that she just let me think that. She was quite vocal, greeted all arrivals and allowed them to commence worship. She kept us all in line, including Jason, who had at least 80 pounds on her. My favorite story about Sheba being in charge happened when a friend was over for lunch. We were eating tuna sandwiches, Sheba jumped on the table and started eating the opposite end of his sandwich. I suggested he stop her to which this grown man responded by saying, "I don't want her mad at me!".
